An established Chemical MNC with positive working culture and potential career advancement has an opening for a Learning & Development Specialist (Asia).
Job Scope:
- Provide advice, coach and guide line managers in identifying learning and development (L&D) needs through job analysis, appraisals and regular consultation, and recommend a course of action.
- Develop and deliver L&D solutions, mostly in group delivery. Responsible for the subsequent monitoring and reviewing of L&D solutions.
- Advise on annual budget requirements for the learning and development function within the broader Regional HR department and monitor the costs of L&D activities.
- Determine and plan a 12 monthly training schedule and communicate this to all business functions and countries within the region. Plan and deliver global L&D / talent development activities into the regional training schedule as prescribed by the HR Leaders.
- Build relationship with external training providers to ensure offers to all employees the highest level of personal skills and management development available.
- Advise, coach and guide line managers in resolving performance issues through development and training.
- Work with HR team for all graduate trainee activity within the region such as recruitment, placements, career planning) and in-charge of L&D delivery for graduate trainee programme.
- Continually develop, implement and maintain L&D processes and systems which meet the needs of employees and line managers
Requirements:
- Preferably Degree in relevant field or equivalent.
- 4-5 years of experience.
- Possess prior experience partnering with external training vendors, conducting / facilitating L&D workshops on internal corporate training programs such as Graduate Trainee Program, Leadership Program etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of personal skill and behaviourial development areas, techniques and theories.
- Ability to design and deliver L&D solutions requiring a thorough understanding of the training cycle and learning styles.
