RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and posting of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage and oversee General Ledger activities
• Process for staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses.
• Prepare documents and schedules required by auditors
• Prepare internal management reports such as daily monitoring and daily regulatory data base calculation
• Prepare regulatory reports and respond to regulatory the inquiries
• Support new systems tests as required by Head Office
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Finance & Accounting
• Leave cover for other team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/ Diploma in accountancy or related accounting qualifications
• Minimum 3 years handling accounting operations such as payment / nostro reconciliations and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS excel
• Must be meticulous and careful
• Mature with good communication skills and must be able to work independently

Jobscope:

• Review balance sheet schedules, including bank reconciliations, and address aged items with GBS and business operations.
• Oversee fixed asset capitalization and disposals per company policy.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end/year-end closing, including BPC reporting to Group.
• Manage InControl Framework and provide compliance guidance.
• Review GST submissions and ensure accurate tax computations.
• Ensure statutory reporting aligns with relevant accounting and reporting standards.
• Address external/internal audit issues related to General Ledger.
• Plan and oversee monthly/yearly stock counts, ensuring alignment with InControl Framework.
• Provide technical accounting expertise to GBS and business operations.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Possess a solid technical accounting background.
• At least 4–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
