RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and posting of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Manage and oversee General Ledger activities
- Process for staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses.
- Prepare documents and schedules required by auditors
- Prepare internal management reports such as daily monitoring and daily regulatory data base calculation
- Prepare regulatory reports and respond to regulatory the inquiries
- Support new systems tests as required by Head Office
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Finance & Accounting
- Leave cover for other team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/ Diploma in accountancy or related accounting qualifications
- Minimum 3 years handling accounting operations such as payment / nostro reconciliations and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS excel
- Must be meticulous and careful
- Mature with good communication skills and must be able to work independently
