Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Workplace, Safety & Health Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the organization's Workplace Safety & Health Management System and establish WSH programs in accordance with legal guidelines.
- Formulate and enforce policies to foster a culture of health and safety.
- Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws through evaluation of practices, procedures, and facilities.
- Conduct training sessions and presentations on health, safety, and accident prevention.
- Monitor compliance with policies and regulations through on-site inspections.
- Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential safety hazards.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and manage worker’s compensation claims.
- Propose solutions for issues, identify improvement opportunities, and suggest new prevention measures.
- Provide reports on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistical data.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in a manufacturing setting.
- Registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and certified as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Singapore standards for ISO45001, ISO 14001, and local WSH legislation and codes.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment techniques.

- Location: West
- Salary: S$7,000 higher (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
