Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily settlement function and assist Deputy Head of Department/Head of Department for the overall in-charge of the sections of Import/Export Bills (IEB), Loan Admin and Settlement.
• Pro-actively maintains good working relationships with the business (Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, Private Banking, Treasury and FICM) and respective support department (Accounts, Risk Management, Human Resource and Admin, Compliance and Internal Audit).
• Manage and ensure deals are correctly authorized, verified, processed, inputted into the system, confirmed and settled and payments are approved and processed in accordance with the approved payment procedure. Ensure Nostro account are reviewed and reconciled on a daily basis and discrepancies, if any, are followed up immediately.
