RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and posting of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage and oversee General Ledger activities
• Process for staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses.
• Prepare documents and schedules required by auditors
• Prepare internal management reports such as daily monitoring and daily regulatory data base calculation
• Prepare regulatory reports and respond to regulatory the inquiries
• Support new systems tests as required by Head Office
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Finance & Accounting
• Leave cover for other team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/ Diploma in accountancy or related accounting qualifications
• Minimum 3 years handling accounting operations such as payment / nostro reconciliations and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS excel
• Must be meticulous and careful
• Mature with good communication skills and must be able to work independently

Job Description

• Greet and direct clients at reception, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
• Manage meeting room bookings and handle general inquiries from clients and staff
• Operate the switchboard, route phone calls, and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level
• Experience as a receptionist or similar role
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Available to start immediately or with short notice

Responsibilities

• Review balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations, and ensure timely month-end/year-end closing and reporting.
• Manage fixed asset capitalization and disposals per company policy.
• Ensure compliance with InControl Framework, GST submissions, and statutory reporting.
• Handle audit issues related to General Ledger and oversee stock counts.
• Provide accounting expertise and support to GBS and business operations.

Requirements:

• Strong technical accounting background with at least 2 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and functions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
