• Responsible for the overall management and implementation of projects
• Plan and prepare work schedules when the projectis awarded
• Coordinate and manage activities of the vendors and sub-contractors to ensure quality standards are met
• Ensure documentation from vendors and sub-contractors are in-order i.e. Technical Submission, Material Submission, etc
• Constantly monitor the progress of projects and provide management and clients’ with regular progress status reports
• Conduct regular site walks and manage work schedules to ensure smooth progress and timely delivery of projects
• Anticipate issues/problems that could arise and provide solutions to solve them
• Prepare test scripts, schedule, and reports for Factory and Site testing and send an invitationto clients for all witness testing.
• Coordinate with consultant or clients for Integrated Services Test (IST) and prepare all vendors, sub-contractors and internal departments for the test.
• Work with CAD department to highlight any discrepancy in construction drawings and ensure accuracy in as-built drawings.
• Work with the Project Admin department to prepare OMM and handover certificates for assigned projects.
• Prepare system write-up for every discipline

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Fresh graduates are welcome
• 3-4 years’ experience in the M&E industry is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Possess knowledge in project management tools, solutions, andtechniques are highly desirable.
• Possess safety awareness at all time
• Familiar with Authority Requirement and Code of Practice is preferable
• Good interpersonal, communication and people management skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Able to commit to long working hours and responsive to sudden client’s request
• A team player who works well with all internal and external teams involved in the project.

Provide support to Facilities Manager in Facility Maintenance / Preventive Maintenance work.

• Liaise with customer engineering department to ensure company procedures and quality guidelines are followed.
• Review “Events and Actions” on site and implement remedial actions where needed
• Manage contractors work on site to ensure adherence to procedures
• To be involved and carry out planning, execution and updates for all daily work including routine report submission.
• To be involved in co-ordination and liaison on contractor works, which includes:
• Power Diversion,
• System power up and down,
• System roll in and out,
• Power tracing,
• Equipment data logging and encompassing all other minor works which contribute to the well-being of the Data Centre or Site.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering (or related engineering field) and above.
• Fresh graduates are welcome
• At least 3 year experience of operating in and fitting our Data Centre Facilities is an advantage but not mandatory
• Able to work on odd hours as and when required
• License Electric Worker is an advantage but not mandatory
• Possess good practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical work
• Possess strong understanding of large-scale facility electrical infrastructure system
• Good written and oral communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work efficiently and good team orientation.
