Responsibilities:
RECEIVING
1. Plans for daily collection of parts from customers.
2. Verifies all customers’ parts and quantities against their Purchase Order or other delivery documentations and acknowledge acceptance.
3. Generates the Process Control Card (PCC) from the DNAsp.
4. The Production Planner will clone the process steps in the PCC if it is a new part and/or there is no data is found in the DNAsp. He/She will stamp “NEW PART PLS REFER TO TECHNICAL TEAM” on the PCC.
5. Ensures that the process requirements are correctly specified on the PCC prior releasing for incoming inspection.
6. Seeks clarification from customers if the following discrepancies are identified.
- Part information i.e. Part Number, Serial Number, Job Number, Quantity, etc.
- Incorrect process work scopes.
- Incorrect certification required.
7. Responsible for prioritizing production planning and scheduling of parts processing.
WORK IN-PROGRESS (WIP)
8. Monitors of parts status in the DNAsp and discusses with Production to ensure that parts delivery schedules are met.
9. Informs respective customer and proposes for alternate turnaround time (TAT) or delivery date if the original TAT is not met.
DELIVERY
10. Generate Delivery Orders for processed parts and arrange for parts delivery to customers.
SUB-CONTRACTING
11. Issues of Purchase Order to subcontractor. Ensures that relevant documentations are attached with the job.
12. Coordinates with subcontractor for the parts collection or makes necessary arrangement for delivery of parts to them.
13. Liaises with subcontractor to ensure that work is completed as per schedule.
14. Ensures that subcontractor’s COC and/or Inspection Report are attached with the parts upon work completed.
OTHERS
15. Assumes the responsibilities of the Production Control Executive in her absence.
