ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance of operations with local safety regulations and guidelines such as the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, WSH Regulations, and other relevant standards, including regular updates on any changes to these regulations.
- Review of Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedure and Permit-to-Work documents.
- Conduct in-house WSH Training for the workforce.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, incident investigations & reporting.
- Compiles all relevant reports and records and carries out daily safety inspections.
- Identify unsafe work practice or work conditions and recommend control measures.
- Record keeping of relevant training records and WSH documents.
- Liaise, communicate and attend site meetings/inspection with partners and contractors.
- Generate safety reports for management.
- To support and administer all WSH-related initiatives.
- Inventory management for Personal Protective Equipment.
- Any ad-hoc task assigned by the superior.
REQUIREMENTS:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health Act.
- Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinator Course / Advance certificate in Workplace Safety & Health from approved institutes.
- Minimum two (2) years' of relevant safety experience, in construction industry.
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
- Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
- Comfortable to work at night, due to night job work schedule.
