Advising government agencies or specific industries on environmental standards and policies
Managing or coordinating environmental protection projects and programs
Assessing the current or potential impact that land use projects will have on the environment
Creating and presenting environmental compliance training to companies or communities
Inspecting municipal or industrial facilities to ensure operational safety and effectiveness and that the programs being used are in compliance with environmental regulations
Detailed design of process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including screening equipment, physical-chemical treatment plants, biological treatment plants, blower equipment, odour control plants, disinfection plants, sludge treatment plants, desalination process, etc.
Detailed design of ancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and drainage systems.
Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
General Arrangement and equipment layout drawings.
Preparation of process equipment specifications.
Review and evaluation of vendor submissions.
Coordination with other disciplines e.g. civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, building services, instrumentation & control designers and digital water specialists.
Able to lead meetings, HAZOP, discussions with clients, contractors and vendors.
Provide engineering support for bids & proposals.
Prepare testing and commissioning plans
Process Testing & Commissioning
Keeping abreast with latest development in water treatment technology and suitably applies in the design

Requirements:

Candidate shall have minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in the process design of water / wastewater treatment (municipal and industrial)
Expertise in water / wastewater treatment process modeling and optimization (including biological treatment).
Possess knowledge of wastewater treatment processes such as Activated Sludge, SBR, MBR & MBBR/IFAS.
Experience in preparing PFDs/P&IDs and specifications for procurement of water and wastewater process equipment.
Proven ability to manage diverse and large scale water projects, prioritize tasks, effectively.
Utilize available resources and ensure timely completion of projects.
Proficient in written and oral communication with good interpersonal skills.
