As a geospatial analyst, some day-to-day tasks include:
- Preparing input data for AI models
- Developing and automating GIS processes
- Researching into remote sensing technology and methods
- Researching into carbon markets and carbon accounting methods
- Developing bespoke AI models, post-processing and analyzing results
- Presenting insights to clients
Job Requirements
- Vector manipulation using GIS software (ArcGIS/QGIS)
- Coding skills, preferably Python or R
- Experience with remote sensing is a plus
- Interest in learning AI
- Interest in tackling environmental and conservation issues; knowledge in carbon markets and nature-based solutions is a plus
