Additive Manufacturing (AM) Senior Technician (3rd Shift – 11 PM to 7 AM)
As a Senior AM Technician, you will assist the AM engineers in operating and managing the WAAM printing equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Set up, operate, and monitor large-scale robotic 3D printing equipment to produce parts according to Job sheet specifications.
- Prepare and load materials into the 3D printers, ensuring proper fixture, alignment and configuration.
- Monitor the printing process, perform regular inspections, and make necessary adjustments to maintain print quality and prevent issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain up-to-date production records and reports, accurately documenting work performed.
- Update the Supervisor on job status and report any non-conformance issues raised during fabrication.
- Perform equipment preventative maintenance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications, Key Skills & Desired Qualities:
- Higher Nitec/Nitec/ ITE Skills Certificate (ISC) or Certification in Welding or equivalent.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment or similar advanced welding techniques.
- Able to work on permanent 3rd shift (11 PM to 7 AM).
- Able to work independently with a positive attitude and a team player.
- A good understanding of welding techniques.
