- Basic Salary: Up to $5,500 (Depending on Experience)
- Duration: 1 Year Contract – Renewable subjected to performance and business directions
- Travelling required (approx. once a month)
Job Description
- Adapt brands’ global educational materials (makeup related) based on TR APAC launch directives.
- Design and develop quarterly makeup curriculum including sales speech, artistry gestures and service KPIs suitable for travel retail and flagship store environment.
- HKMC & Taiwan: Responsible for delivering quarterly BA training (online/ offline) and basic school for new BAs (if any).
- Partnering Senior Education Manager to deliver train-the-trainer makeup content and inspiring artistry upskilling includes product knowledge, application techniques and 3D services during every quarter Train-the-trainers session.
- Field Coach: Elevate BAs’ artistry skillset through strong collaboration & partnership with the commercial team across all regions, providing extensive in-store and online coaching, conducting skill evaluations, and nurturing their artistry development and career growth with the brand.
- Create inspiring quarterly grooming looks for all regions’ BA and ensure adherence to uniform and grooming guidelines at all time.
- Leveraging the BA engagement platform, lead brands’ makeup artistry community in TR APAC, to continuously enhance their makeup expertise and job motivation. Creating engaging content, facilitating knowledge sharing, and driving ongoing training retention.
- Drive exceptional Consumer Experience Evaluation results by implementing targeted action plans to continuously elevate BAs’ service standards and artistry skillset.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to curate strategic makeup collection and shades selections for new launches, ensuring inclusivity and maximizing product appeal within TR APAC.
- Recap & debrief internal stakeholders (commercial and marketing) by sharing quarterly or timely field feedback (makeup products) based on established KPIs on newness launches, BAs’ and customers’ feedbacks, retail service execution observations and proposed solutions
You are the Field Strategist in Travel Retail APAC:

- Balanced Approach:The 40/60 split between office and field work suggests a dynamic role. You'd gather on-the-ground insights and then translate them into actionable strategies back at HQ.
- Regional Reach: Your influence extends across the Asia-Pacific region. This travel element emphasizes the scope and scale of your impact. You're dealing with diverse markets and consumer bases.
Requirement
- Strong knowledge and passion for makeup products, techniques, and trends.
- Ability to host / co-host a training.
- Ability to host / co-host consumer facing retail activations, as well as PR events.
- Proven good track-record as a makeup artist in the beauty industry.
