The Opportunity:

• Location: Pasir Panjang
• $2700~$3000 (depending on experience)
• 6months Contract - can convert!

Duties:

• Perform accounts receivable or accounts payable tasks, as assigned in the Singapore Finance and
• Accounting regional hub, and ensure they are performed in accordance with the Financial Policies Manual
• (FPM) and the Financial Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Perform month- and year-end closings as needed, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting
• Standards (IFRS). This will include the preparation of reconciliation reports and financial disclosure
• Perform fixed asset accounting and ensure accurate postings, especially at month-end.
• Perform Intra-Region Intercompany transactions including but not limited to VAT transfers, cash
• centralization, making or receiving payments on behalf of other office locations, dividend payouts, royalty
• charges and cost allocations. Ensure no intercompany mismatch at each month-end.
• Attend to daily bank transactions including but not limited to bank charges, and interest income and
• investment postings. Ensure completeness of SAP interface.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma and above, related to accounting
• Able to work in fast-paced environment + good communication skills
• Portray strong sense of teamwork
• Experience in shared service model is a plus
• At least 1- 2 years of relevant working experience will be advantageous
• Immediate availability will be advantageous

Duties:

• Perform AP-related postings, including AP invoicing, Outgoing payments, and creation of fixed asset master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, in compliance with College policies and internal approval matrix;
• Check the accuracy of creditors’ invoices.
• Record journal entries (purchase and cash payments) and assign costs to designated accounts.
• Manage email accounts for receiving creditors’ statements of account.
• Reconcile creditors’ statements of account and follow up with creditors and respective departments on matters relating to creditors’ invoices.
• Retrieve invoices for scheduled payments.
• Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes related to accounts payable + cash reconciliation reports
• Take charge of payments and refunds, ensuring timeliness of payments and completeness of paperwork;
• Any other duties as instructed by the management
