The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a global leader in tobacco manufacturing, and we are seeking a Electrical Engineer Manager to join their business permanently! Reporting to the Director, this is an individual contributor role (part of a team) to play a key role in providing technical support to external contract manufacturer to ensure consistent production and quality of small/portable electronic devices. This role will require frequent travel (2-3 times per week) to neighboring countries to work closely with the contract manufacturers on-site.

• Full-time, permanent opportunity
• Work location: South West region (overseas travel will be borne by company)
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
• Salary: up to $9,000 / month + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Provide technical guidance and assistance to external contract manufacturers to resolve electronic engineering-related issues encountered during production.
• Work closely with manufacturers to implement and uphold stringent quality control measures, ensuring consistent and reliable product standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Investigate and address electronic engineering challenges to minimize production delays and defects.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to incorporate design changes that improve product quality and ease of manufacturability.
• Support investment audits in coordination with other departments and conduct periodic physical asset inspections.
• Assist with annual inventory checks.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• At least 5 years in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) with a strong understanding of overall supply chain, manufacturing technology, process set-up, process validation and SOP support.
• Knowledge of electrical device assembly is a must.
