The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with Asia's leading communications technology group, and we are seeking to hire a Project Planning Manager to join their business! Reporting to the Director, the successful incumbent will oversee and manage pipeline and cable diversion requests from clients. This role includes managing a team of 4 planners to oversee the completion of project assessments, track project timelines, control budgets, and ensure the successful and timely execution of all initiatives. Furthermore, the role involves participating in tender procurement processes and maintaining accurate and up-to-date network inventory records.

- Work location: East region
- Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
- Salary: up to $8,000 / month + VB
The Job:
- Coordinate and manage pipeline/cable diversion requests from state agencies and private enterprises.
- Lead a team of planners to ensure thorough project studies, accurate quotations, efficient implementation, and timely completion of all projects.
- Prepare project quotations for clients and oversee project delivery upon confirmation.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure contractors adhere to planned timelines and project specifications.
- Monitor ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
- Identify and address site issues or constraints, developing practical and effective solutions.
- Oversee project budgets, including Capex and Opex, to maintain financial control and ensure timely cost recovery through billing.
- Provide material forecasts to the material management team, ensuring sufficient resources for seamless project rollout.
- Review network data, generate statistical reports, and proactively address pipe/cable capacity needs.
- Lead tender processes to evaluate and select suitable contractors for various projects.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of network inventory.
- Drive process automation initiatives to minimize manual effort, enhance efficiency, and improve the customer experience.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of new processes and procedures to boost team efficiency and ensure compliance with standards.
The Talent:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in telecommunications.
- Proven expertise in managing pipeline or cable network projects and outside plant networks.
- Familiar with Fiber, Access, and Transmission technologies, as well as GIS and Network Inventory Systems.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and develop planning teams and oversee project study, execution, and monitoring.
