- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations and procurement strategies.
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
- Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience and cost-effectiveness.
- Functional role as process management lead to focus on the delivery of procurement RFP packages, analyze and present the delivery of work, which will require working with other consultants.
- Fulfill the core Project Management responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Maintain and quality assurance on project documentation
- Sending invite of agendas for every regular or ad-hoc meeting setup
- Assisting the Project Lead with risk management of reporting
- Monitoring and reporting progress and communicating clearly with both clients and key stakeholders
- Working with main vendors and sub-vendors.
- Assisting the Project Lead to work and communicate directly with client for all projects deliverable.
- Liaise and manage the co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work (third part suppliers, client internal stakeholders, partners, etc.) and ensure the smooth running of projects.
- Adhere to the process guidelines set out b the department to manage all projects and responsibilities within the team.
- Work with the Operations Lead, Business Lead & Project Lead to continuously improve the way we work, from beginning to end, thorough documentation, processes and industry-leading best practices
- Proactively identify risks and develop and communicate solutions to contingency plans and manage accordingly
- Manage change control and escalating issues to the Project Lead where necessary.
- Provide regular status reports to the Project and/or Operation Lead
- Ensure that each step of the project is on-time and within budget as per project execution plan.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication.
- Create a stakeholder map.
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless handover of completed deliverables to the operational teams.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation (JIRA, confluence, gantt charts, etc), including task trackers, decisions, and lessons learned.
- Deliver high-quality presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
Required Qualification, Skills and Attributes:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, or related field. An advanced degree in Business/Finance/Construction Management or related field is strongly preferred.
- At least 04 years project and construction management experiences in the direct management of real estate projects of varying sizes, complexities and across multiple markets (retail, residential, commercial, industrial etc).
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, seeks to develop strong client relationships.
- Excellent customer service and analytical skills are necessary as is an attention to detail personality.
- Proficient in the various project delivery models (DBB, DB, GMP, CM, MC etc.) and be confident enough to deploy them on any given project where the pro’s and con’s warrant such an approach.
