DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems based on ISO standards.

2. Oversee the day-to-day quality control operations, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

3. Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent quality outcomes to quality control inspectors and technicians

4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement, non-conformities, and opportunities for enhancing quality processes.

5. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to establish and enforce quality standards at all stages of the product lifecycle.

6. Enhance the development and execution of quality control plans, including sampling techniques, testing methodologies, and documentation procedures.

7. Manage the documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans.

8. Monitor and analyse quality metrics to track performance and identify trends, presenting findings to management and suggesting improvement strategies.

9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ISO and OCO certifications, as well as industry best practices, and incorporate them into the quality management system.

10. Co-ordinate ISO audits by external certification bodies, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place and readily accessible.

Qualifications and experience:

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Material Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.); advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on ISO certifications.

· Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Standards, with the ability to interpret and implement their requirements effectively.

· Knowledge on Component FAI / PPAP / PSW from supplier are a plus

· Must be able to write and communicate in Mandarin and English as the position requires liaison and communication with China counterparts on equipment and material matters

· Proven experience in managing quality control teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality excellence.

· Proficiency in quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis techniques.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.

· Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Familiarity with quality management software and tools.

· Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

To supervise, execute and monitor the activities of manufacture floor to ensure reliable and optimal operation of processes, equipment, utility and facility so as to achieve target production levels within the framework.

Responsibilities:

· Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures and operation condition sheet.

· Identifying, analyzing, trouble shooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utilities consumption.

· Perform trial production and test run of new grade, new process and equipment.

· Optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization and energy conservation with feasibility study, make the necessary field test to verify the result.

· Provide technical support and documentation for manufacturing process, including corrective measure for customer complaint in technical viewpoint

· Ensure availability of equipment, tools, production consumables, transfer of input materials for daily production preparation and follow up on ensuring housekeeping of production floor.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on Process, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in a process engineering or validation role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in process validation methodologies and techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and act on data
• Must be able to write and communication in Mandarin and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing industry
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Willing to work in Jurong
