What You'll Do
- Develop and execute plans that align with business objectives and client goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the events department, ensuring the successful planning and delivery of all projects.
- Review and refine processes quarterly to boost efficiency, streamline operations, and optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Leverage the latest tools and tech innovations to minimize risks and enhance project workflows.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of events, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead post-event client reviews with project teams to evaluate results, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Provide leadership to project teams, offering guidance, direction, and mentorship to ensure successful execution.
- Cross-support and promote the group’s creative, social, and video & photography services in collaboration with respective department heads.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews with the team, providing constructive feedback and clear development plans.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and Business Growth Lead to explore inbound opportunities and drive outbound growth strategies.
- Keep senior leadership updated on operational performance, budgets, and challenges, providing clear insights and solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and with minimum 3 years of managing a diverse project team of at least 5
- Strong project management skills, including experience overseeing budgets and financial planning (between 300K – 1million)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity, efficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Adaptable, resourceful, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality results
- Agile, meticulous, highly organized, and skilled in reporting to ensure clear communication and accountability for both internal and external stakeholders
