Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Certified Accountant to manage the Client Accounting department. The successful candidate will take charge of all aspects of financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax reporting and administrative matters for a portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- In charge of billings, fee negotiations and recovery for each client engagement
- Prepare and/or review periodic management accounts, customised reporting packages, statutory accounts, GST returns, monthly payroll and other expense disbursements, as well as year-end remuneration returns.
- Liaise with auditors and regulators, answering queries on behalf of clients.
- Review and improve current process flow.
- Undertake and oversee other ad-hoc projects or duties as may be required from time to time
Requirements
- at least three years’ post–qualification experience, preferably in an accounting or audit environment.
- strong organisational and management skills, well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- experience in corporate secretarial work and/or knowledge of Xero Accounting Software is an advantage
