Role Description

The QC/QA Flavors Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and improving product and process quality throughout the production process. Ensuring compliance with both internal and external quality standards is paramount. The role necessitates the interpretation of ISO standards to develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The QC/QA Flavors Specialist will play a key role in helping our team navigate and comply with international regulatory standards.

The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Production, to identify areas requiring improvement and to drive continuous quality enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control processes and monitor outcomes
• Analyze product and process data to identify areas for quality improvement
• Implement and interpret ISO standards into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to improve product quality
• Assist in ensuring the company complies with international regulatory standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Lead ISO, Halal, and any other Quality Assurance Audits.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other ISO standards
• Conduct audits and report findings, recommending changes as necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field
• Experience in Quality Control/Assurance in the food, flavor, or fragrance industry
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and/or quality management systems (QMS) is a plus
• Prior experience with flavor or fragrance analysis is a major plus
