Job Purpose
The Accounts Executive reports to the Finance Manager. He does work that is about accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll and other accounting tasks. He assists the Finance Manager with monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts. He prepares the trial balance, basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements. He may be involved in finance-related projects and systems testing.
Principal Accountabilities
- Perform a full range of coordination and administrative duties including data entry, document filing, invoice verification and preparation of payment
- Perform accurate data entry for both Account Receivable (AR) and Account Payable (AP) including checking and validation.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Assist in GST filing preparation
- Participate in annual audits & tax review
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Manager
Education & Experience
- Min. Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Accounting/Accountancy
- Experience in SAP and XERO systems with good MS Excel skills essential
- Experience with bank upload files and bank reconciliation a must
