Job summary:

The Sales Support Specialist is a customer-interfacing role that requires ownership of managing the order life cycle from Forecast-To-Cash activities. The candidate is expected to deliver excellent customer experience while upholding Advantest’s financial integrity and business controls (eg: Legal, SOX, Tax and other regulatory requirements).

Job responsibilities:

• Support the Sales teams in generating Formal Quotations with clear terms and conditions acceptable to Advantest Corporation, after ensuring compliance with established Advantest approval matrixes, policies and guidelines, and all required documents & approvals are in place. This includes providing consultation to the Sales teams on complex deal structure, purchase contract T&C reviews and timely escalation of potential topics with the respective business partners to resolve issues.
• Direct interface with customers to perform Order Acceptance procedures and solve a broad range of customer service-related matters which may be of varying scope and different range of complexities. Required to multitask as the role calls for timely liaison and coordination with various stakeholders (eg: customer, Sales teams, factory, forwarders, Logistics, Finan ce, Legal etc) for shipment-related matters, order changes and payment related activities.
• Regularly monitors the backlog and open orders for potential slippage, signs of delay or cancellations for manager’s review and/or escalation.
• Revenue and AR management (Letter of Credit operations) based on revenue recognition guidelines and regulations.
• As a team player, assist other team members during high workload situations and participate in ad-hoc projects/assignments for business process & policies improvements.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent area of study)
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of related work experience in Sales Administration
• Oracle R12 experience, preferably in order management
• SOX audit and IFRS15 revenue policy knowledge
• Evidence of effective communication skills, both verbal and written in different languages (English and Mandarin) would be preferred to support shared services environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure, effectively manage priorities, and maintain professionalism during stressful situations.
• Strong teamwork and demonstrated track record of working well in a team & with cross-functional team members.
• To ensure continuous availability to our customers globally, employee may be required to support the business during certain Singapore’s Public Holidays. Employee will be given a paid day off in-lieu for such situation.

Job Description:

· Responsible for maintaining and supporting (level 2 & 3) the Oracle EBS (12.1.3) Finance modules and in supporting business transactions.

· Strong experience in the Oracle modules; Finance, Order Management, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Quoting, and related Boundary tools

· Duties include user support, application maintenance, reporting and troubleshooting of functional issues and transactions.

· Assist the other members of the application support group in regular operations as well as ongoing evaluation for system related process improvements and development solutions to meet end user’s needs

· Analyze the interfaces and integration points

· Setup and change configurations within the Oracle Finance Modules

· Work closely with Business users on process improvements and changes

· Work closely with external support / consulting companies on incident management, requirement management and change management services

· Document as-is and to-be business processes, configuration scripts and other associated functional/technical specifications

· Root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills are important

· Experience in analyzing data and translating business requirements into technical specifications

· Manage Finance, IT projects and provide timely deliverables

Requirements:

· Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent education and experience

· Experience of 3+ years as an IT Technical/Functional Analyst

· Experience with Oracle R12 Finance related modules

· Experience in SQL and familiar with the database structures in Finance

· Experience in the languages of; PL/SQL, OAF, Java/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML

· Experience in the technologies of; Oracle Apps EBS, OAF, Web ADI, Web Services, JSP, Core Java

· Experience in the software tools of; JDeveloper, Putty, GitLab, JIRA, PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL Developer

· Strong Project Management Skills, PMP Certification is preferred

· Knowledge of Reporting, Power BI, BI Publisher, OBIEE, RPA, and automation technologies is preferred

· Good analytical skills in solving technical issues

· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross functional teams

· Experience in working effectively with people, across multiple levels, multiple cultures, and time zones

The incumbent is responsible to provide technical leadership for the Technical Support team in supporting and managing technical escalations and new product introduction (NPI), stabilisations and knowledge transfer of Advantest Automated Test Equipment, Device Handling, Device Interface and Test Cell solution products in South East Asia region.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional team of technical support engineers to deliver an outstanding support experience through our local field service teams towards our regional customer base for all Advantest’s Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Device Handling, Device Interface and Test Cell products.
• Responsible for defining support strategies for the introduction of new products into our region to ensure highest service levels, risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Collaborates closely with our Global Escalation team as well as Business Unit R&D to quickly provide sustainable solution to urgent customer escalations.
• Liaise and collaborate with global support teams, local field support and regional account teams.
• Ensure the Technical Support team provide the technical leadership product knowledge/solution transfer and feedback, responsible for knowledge retention.
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess process performance and implement improvements.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering in either Electronics, Mechanical or Software is preferred.
• Proven experience as a support/service manager in technical support or support delivery.
• Demonstrable a strong ability to lead as an experienced people manager with good employee engagement to achieve successful outcome for support activities and projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Solid communication skills at spanning the regional organisation as well as global.
• Winner attitude and mentality with outstanding customer and result focus.
• Occasional travel is required.
