Job Description & Requirements

• Design and drafting of infrastructure/ Water / building engineering works (Structural / Mechanical / Electrical).
• Conducting technical feasibility study, life cycle study and planning for building engineering.
• Preparation of design report, calculation, drawings, specification, cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects.
• Assist Project Manager in up-keeping the project ISO quality documentation and records.
• Evaluation of tenders and preparation of tender assessment reports.
• Assist Professional Engineer in liaison preparation and follow up of authority submission.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years hands-on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects
• Good project management and technical skills
• Familiar with local code and authority submission procedures
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM
• Good communication skills; ability to work well in a team

As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.Develop and review structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects

• Perform complex structural analyses using advanced software tools to ensure the safety and integrity of structures
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to create innovative and efficient structural solutions
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with local building codes and international standards
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
• Analyze and resolve structural issues that arise during the construction phase
• Prepare and review technical reports, including structural calculations and design criteria
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in structural engineering for large-scale projects
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar tools
• Thorough understanding of local building codes and international structural design standards
• Experience in construction supervision and quality control processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex structural issues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and liaise effectively with clients and contractors
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
