Descsription:

• Represent and report to the Client / SO / SO Rep to identify, assess and make recommendations to manage foreseeable risks and safety infringements
• Attend to Contractor’s Safety Committee Meetings
• Conduct audits of all contractors to ensure compliance with agreed safety management plans
• Monitor and review the implementation of the SHE plan.
• Be an advisor to guide and lead risk assessment amongst the Contractor teams and areas requiring more attention, including risk reduction or systems improvement
• Attend toolbox and pre-start meetings as appropriate
• Manage site wide communication of all safety information
• Manage overall reporting of safety statistics and man-hours including lead and lag indicators
• Lead investigations and reporting on any incident or near miss
• Produce an d overall site wide safety calendar of events and issues and conduct and monitor all site wide safety drills and exercises
• Ensure Contractor’s implementation of all aspects of the approved Safety Management Plan and the associated and referenced work practices.
• Monitor and review site ECM plan and implementation
• Attend to all liaisons with Authorities including but not limited to M.O.M, NEA, PUB, LTA, etc

Requirements:

• Diploma holder with relevant experience within construction safety field.
• Possess more than 5 years relevant working experience in health and safety management systems
• Possess good knowledge of safety, health, environmental protection
• Familiar with ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 management systems and Singapore legal and statutory requirements.
• Possess strong capabilities in risk analysis and risk control.
• An excellent communicator with an eye for detail, the candidate must exhibit initiative and a strong desire to achieve results.
• Customer service skills and an analytical mind are advantageous.
• Possess good writing skills and familiar with the common Microsoft suite of software
• Willing to commit to a 12 months contract
• Working location will be at Changi and company transport will be provided from Tanah Merah MRT station

Job Description

This role will support an integrated, value-based approach to human resources management, aligned to annual and long-term strategic business and HR initiatives in a large organization. She/he will be a strategic partner with the business, to nurture an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

The incumbent will provide a range of HR services to the company and business units, with partnership with Centres of Excellence in HR, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, talent development and people services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team of Human Resource Business Partners in providing HR insights and advice to the business on all people related issues and initiatives
• Roll out HR strategies that are aligned with the company's overall business objectives
• Develop and implement programs to ensure retention of key staff, and lower the employee turnover
• Improve employee experience and engagement through different communication channels and throughout the employee lifecycle
• Advise and support managers in employee performance management and development
• Develop an effective talent pipeline that addresses the organization's succession plan
• Ensure L&D activities are planned to meet current and future organization and employee needs.
• Partner with Compensation and Benefits team to regularly review market competitiveness, benefit and reward structures, internal relativity and equity to ensure competitiveness
• Review workflow processes to increase the efficiency within the HR teams
• Review HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation and/or organizational changes to increase efficiency
• Create and maintain a positive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, diversity and positive employee experience
• Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution
• Lead and develop the HR team, providing guidance and support for their professional growth
• Analyse HR key metrics, develop continuous employee feedback mechanisms and use data to develop HR interventions and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of HR experience
• Proven experience in supporting business units with a true blend of strategic and hands-on operational responsibilities
• A good team player, positive, people oriented and enjoys meeting and talking to people
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business and with good business acumen
• Previous experience in leading a project from scratch and driving to completion
• Confident with ambiguity and having an agile & flexible mindset
• Independent and a quick-learner with strong sense of responsibility and initiative
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
• Demonstrated effective people and workload management skills
