Job Description & Requirements

• Be part of the fast-expanding team and provide comprehensive design and project management services to our clients in the fields of Infrastructure constructions.
• Carry out design activities that are cost-effective and comply with clients’ specifications and statutory regulations.
• Project management and contract administration for engineering contracts.
• Responsible for financial management of the project, ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule and staff are working together effectively.
• Oversee project development to implementation.
• Play a key role in client management and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil / Structural, Mechanical/Electrical or any Engineering related disciplines
• Minimum 19 years hands-on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects
• Strong project management and technical skills
• Familiar with local code and authority submission procedures
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Registered Professional Engineer with Singapore Professional Engineers Board is preferred

Job Description

• Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems
• To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
• To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
• To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
• To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
• To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Registered with IES/ ACES as a Resident Technical
• Minimum 5 years of M&E work experience with strong knowledge of local construction practices air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, security systems, BMS, plumbing, sanitary and gas services
• Working location will be at Sentosa
