Role Responsibilities
- Review of EPC engineering submissions for compliance with specifications, standards and contractual requirements.
- Participate in workshops, engineering reviews, other safety and quality activities including and not limited to HAZOP, DfS, 3D reviews and other meetings.
- As part of the site team representing the Owner, to inspect and witness the quality of installation and testing of the equipment per the contract.
- Attend local or overseas Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) as witness either on behalf of Owner or in concurrence with Owner per contract requirement.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to assure the quality of the Electrical deliverables in conjunction with other works such as the civil structure requirements, mechanical systems and overall project deliverables.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure the timely delivery of the project where the electrical works may affect the schedule.
- Work as part of the site team to ensure the seamless coordination with Owner (including existing operations team) to deliver works requiring permits and access to existing sites.
- Conduct Electrical services site survey
- Assist Project Manager in up-keeping the project ISO quality documentation and records.
- Senior engineers must be able to lead projects and supervise a team of engineers / technicians.
Experience / Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of hands-on design and commissioning experience in Energy/Infrastructure/Building projects
- Familiar with local code and authority submission procedure.
- Preferably with experience in tender document preparation, bids evaluation and due diligence studies
- Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision
