• Design and drafting of mechanical engineering works e.g. ACMV, Fire protectio systems, plumbing and sanitary
• Conducting technical feasibility study, life cycle study and planning for building engineering.
• Preparation of study reports, design reports, technical notes and public consultation papers.
• Preparation of tender documents and technical specifications.
• Evaluation of tenders and preparation of tender assessment reports.
• Provide support in project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects
• Good project management and technical skills
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision

• Production of 3D models & 2D drawings from BIM (or directly) for C&S/M&E works.
• Production of Authority Submission drawings.
• Assist in the production of other BIM deliverables such as 4D, 5D, 6D.
• Use Company-wide & Project-specific BIM standards for the production of models & drawings.
• Assist to develop the Company-wide & Project-specific templates & object libraries.
• Manage the work as per schedule & ensure timely delivery of good quality models & drawings.
• Assist in BIM coordination by reporting all discrepancies or issues.
• Keep the project BIM documents upto date e.g. - Modeling/ Drafting standards etc.
• Perform QA QC on the work before sharing it out for review. Focus on Quality.
• Attend trainings. Continue to learn new methods to improve efficiency & apply in projects.
• Work under the supervision of BIM Coordinator or BIM/CAD Manager and perform work task assigned
• Any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by the Senior Management.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Diploma in Engineering or other relevant certifications in BIM Applications.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 1years’ experience in an engineering or construction company having successfully completed 3D models or 2D drawings for at least 2 projects.
• Well versed in at least one BIM Platform such as Autodesk Revit, Bentley OpenBuildings Designer, TEKLA and etc.
• Good time management skills in managing modelling and drafting works
• Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within team environment
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Well versed in Singapore BCA e-submission and guidelines.

Job Description

• Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of road work, Sewerage, permanent and temporary traffic, drainage and utilities
• Familiar with the latest authorities’ design codes, specifications and requirements as well as submission procedures
• Able to be the design lead communicating and liaise with client and authorities while managing the team members design deliverable of drawings and reports.
• Able to liaise and coordinates with other design discipline/departments as well as managing sub consultants in preparation of drawing and reports for submission
• Able to communicate with clients and approving agencies for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design intent and options and expediting approvals

Requirements

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – from a University recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore

Job Description

• Production of drawings on CAD and BIM Revit model for C&S/Archi works
• Working towards deadlines set by Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager
• Responsible for the quality of production
• Prepare and update 3D BIM models for development of CSD/SEM models for submissions
• Supervise the production of 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Office or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and the drawing submission schedule is achieved
• Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, BIM Register in accordance with the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures and ensure all the drawings are completed on schedule or in a timely manner. Perform regular drawing backups and housekeeping work in the directory
• Lead the CSD coordination meetings with engineers and designers. Define all the CSD/SEM issues, prepare and distribute the issues accordingly. Follow up with the project team on CSD and BIM model updates
• Lead the BIM modelers assigned to the project and manage the process of exchange
• Support Project Team for Presentations with BIM-Model and related activities
• Work under the supervision of BIM Manager and perform work task assigned
• Report regularly to the Project Manager on the progress of assigned project works

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or other relevant disciplines
• Preferably with minimum 5 years of working experience in design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects within  engineering design consulting business
• Familiar in operation and have good knowledge of softwares such as Revit, Aecosim, Microstation and AutoCAD
