Design Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and Execute Test plans for qualifying new designs to the intended customer use case
• Develop Accelerated Life Testing/Stress for high value components
• Propose, procure and setup test equipment for component qualification test
• Conduct statistical data analysis for test and reliability data and report compilation
• Assess component quality for working with Supplier. Perform Root Cause Analysis by coordinating with Engineering team
• Skills Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System (Preferable)
• Good Understanding of Quality and Reliability engineering
• Ensure all reported defects from Qualification tests are logged & follow up with owner till corrective action completion
• To support product architectural and core execution

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years’ working experience in a semiconductor environment and leadership role
• Strong knowledge in qualification test plan development, test instrumentation, problem solving
• Skills Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems preferred.
• Good background in statistical analysis and Reliability preferred.
• Self-motivated individual who is action/result oriented, independent, flexible, with a passion for developing technical excellence products.
• Working knowledge of Minitab and experienced in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Mechanical Design Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with team of engineers to understand customer requirements and translate into design
• Develop or convert mechanical design concept to 3D model and 2D drawing by utilizing CAD software
• Produce design justification with DFMEA, calculation and analysis
• Provide schedule planning for design, build and testing.
• Collaborate and follow-up with other function groups such as procurement, manufacturing, and quality to deliver final product
• Provide costing analysis for cost reduction opportunity with alternative design proposal
• Prepare and present design proposal to internal or external party
• Participate in test and troubleshooting to validate design intent and function
• Generate BOM, RFQ, ECR/ECN

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

• Diploma or degree holder, preferably with 3 years relevant experience in semiconductor equipment design
• Hands-on experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks
• Good in drafting 2D drawing detailing and familiar with GD&T
• Familiar with pneumatic and piping industry application components
• Familiar with fabrication process such as machining, turning etc.
• Good knowledge in heat transfer and fluid dynamics
• Familiar with tolerance stack-up analysis
