Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Issue invoices and ensure timely billing.
- Process receipts and payments accurately.
- Send monthly statements of account (SOA) to customers.
- Handle staff reimbursement expenses monthly.
GST Returns and Statutory Audits
- Prepare and submit accurate quarterly GST returns.
- Stay updated on GST regulations and ensure compliance.
Month-End and Year-End Closing
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare necessary accruals and adjustments.
Stock Take
- Conduct bi-annual stock takes and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the operations team for smooth stock takes.
Daily Finance Transactions
- Process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately.
- Enter data into the ERP system and maintain up-to-date records.
- Guide the Accounts part-timer with daily financial tasks.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist auditors during audit periods.
- Train accounts staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE O Level or Certificate/Diploma in Accountancy, with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
- Familiarity with ERP software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, patient, with high typing accuracy and speed.
- Strong team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
