We are a start-up Singapore-based company with a global reach. We use blockchain-powered technology to develop mobile games with integrated geolocation and augmented reality capability. We are pioneering the gaming model with a sustainable play-and-earn economy where rewards earned in the virtual world can also be utilized in the real world.
We adopt a user-first philosophy when designing our products to create a seamless virtual experience for our users. We are looking for an experienced and passionate UIUX Designer to join us in adopting a user-centric approach when designing some of our core lifestyle and game features, to enhance user experience. You will work with a cross-functional Product Development team to analyse user behaviours and identify opportunities in a dynamic environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design products systematically and conduct data-driven evaluation of designs
- Define and maintain the visual and UX patterns for our products to cultivate a consistent and intuitive experience
- Develop clear and effective user interfaces to achieve both product and business goals
- Create wireframes, detailed visual mock-ups and interactive prototypes to communicate system features and interaction behaviours
- Testing designs at varying levels of fidelity with users and iterating on their feedback
- Create a High Fidelity Design across all of our products (Lifestyle & Game)
- Articulate design decisions to stakeholders
- Create style guides and digital assets for production
- Stay updated with industry trends and technology developments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years in designing web and mobile products
- Prior experience in eCommerce and Game industry is a strong plus
- Solid design philosophy, deep understanding and practical experience in user experience design and related fields
- Able to defend a design proposal using data
- Proficient in various interactive and visual design software tools, preferably Figma.
- Proficiency in typography, sketching, composition, layout, colour, iconography, illustration, and the presentation of information
- Ability to thrive in a highly agile and iterative environment and translate business concepts into journeys, screen flows, and interactions.
- Practical experience in agile delivery, including running cross-functional squads, overseeing the creation of new design directions, and/or development and implementation of digital products and services.
