Position: Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to identify business needs through human-centric, visual methods like service journeys, and develop the corresponding business case.
- Work with internal IT and business project teams to create user stories, functional/technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies that align with technology directions (e.g., cloud-based solutions, modernisation of legacy systems, and adoption of SG Tech Stack).
- Select and implement the appropriate development methodology (e.g., Agile or Waterfall) in an Outsourced, Co-Sourced, or In-house development environment.
- Plan, review, and conduct testing and data conversion to ensure alignment with specifications.
- Drive system or product readiness to ensure smooth deployment, adoption, and operational success.
- Analyse the impact of requested changes, propose improvements to meet evolving business needs, and collaborate with the support team to resolve technical issues during the Operations & Maintenance phase.
- Facilitate and propose business process improvements through the adoption of digital technologies.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in this role.
- Involvement in at least two complete software or product development cycles, preferably using Agile methodology.
- Proven expertise in IT business analysis, application solutioning, design, and testing.
- Strong understanding of customer/user experience, design thinking, user story mapping, and digital product lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Motivated and driven personality, with a strong ability to learn and apply new concepts.
- Knowledge or experience in implementing projects in at least one of the following areas:Data Analytics, Agile Methodologies, Internet and Mobile Technologies, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, Service Design, or Cloud Solutioning.
- Previous development or consulting experience is preferred.
- All nationalities welcome, but must be in Singapore with 2 years of local experience.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment across Singapore, Malaysia, and India.
- Capable of working independently, with minimal supervision, while meeting deadlines.
- Initiative-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
