Position: Cloud Resilience Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Establish best practices to ensure cloud redundancy and enable data backups.
- Create disaster recovery plans detailing procedures for swiftly restoring cloud systems after a disruptive event.
- Design and implement regular disaster recovery (DR) tests to validate DR plans, ensuring the cloud systems meet defined RTO and RPO targets.
- Provide recommendations for improving DR plans as new cloud recovery technologies emerge, enhancing system resilience.
- Collaborate with application teams to identify and document resiliency risks and their corresponding remediation plans.
- Promote the use of automation wherever feasible to minimise human error.
- Contribute to cloud systems risk reviews.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience identifying deficiencies in cloud recovery strategies, plans, and internal processes.
- Knowledge of best cloud organisational practices, operational risk management processes, architectural requirements, and vulnerability risk.
- Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments of information systems, applications, and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and impacts.
- Experience monitoring and analysing emerging cloud threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks.
- Hands-on experience in developing disaster recovery (DR) plans for cloud-based systems.
- Practical experience in architecting, planning, and conducting DR tests for cloud-based systems.
- Proficient in configuring cloud components with adequate redundancy, backup, monitoring, and logging to prevent outages.
- Hands-on experience providing support for cloud infrastructure audits and security compliance activities.
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) / comparable certification or education.
- Experience in multi-cloud environments is an added advantage.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- All nationalities welcome, but must be in Singapore with 2 years of local experience.
