We are looking for a/an Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to join our Sector Communication & Engagement team. The candidate will help communicate and drive engagements with our Community Care Partners including but not limited to co-ordinating focus groups and events. The candidate will also be involved in rolling out effective and timely communications through our various digital platforms and organised events.
Reporting to the Team Lead, the candidate will be involved in strategic communications and is required to plan and execute strategies to create awareness of sector-wide developments as well as engage and encourage greater interactions among our sector partners. The role will require coordination with various AIC Internal Stakeholders to streamline implementation and timing of engagements and announcements to the sector, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of such engagements and introduce new and novel ways of communicating to the sector. The role will also see the candidate being part of a team that organises major annual events for the sector, such as the Community Care Work Plan Seminar and Community Care Day, over and above other regularised events in AIC’s calendar such as webinars.
Job description:
- Work in a team to build long-term engagement of Community Care Partners
- Create, plan and execute communications strategies to increase sector awareness, outreach and engagement (including but not limited to co-ordinating focus groups and events) with a strong emphasis and focus on impactful sector-wide development/s.
- Identify communications opportunities
- Support the Team Lead in the development of communications and materials for use on various digital platforms and channels
- Play a key role in evaluating the effectiveness of the team’s communications and engagements and recommend timely refinements, when required
- Work closely with teammates to introduce new and novel ways of communicating to the sector, including use of videos and social media apps
- Prepare and present monthly data report of digital platform/s
- Ensure timely dissemination of emails, advisories and guidelines to the community care sector
- Produce and disseminate eDMs and other promotional materials
- Maintain repository of emails sent to the community care sector
- Find and implement a feasible EDM and email tracking system to gather data and insights
- Play a coordinating role in organising major annual events for the sector, such as the Community Care Work Plan Seminar and Community Care Day as well as regular events like webinars.
- Able to present the Department’s plans to the senior management team, when required.
- Work closely with divisional teammates on the update of contact information of sector partners, when required
- Other ad-hoc and admin duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum recognised degree in Media and Communications, Marketing Communications or relevant areas
- At least 3 years of experience in strategic communications, digital content creation, digital strategy or digital marketing.
- Basic video production and editing capabilities and basic graphic design skills are a requirement
- Good writing and presentation skills are required
- Keen eye for design
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in Office 365 suite, Sharepoint2019 and web analytics
- Experience in undertaking digital communication campaigns and a strong understanding of social media and digital platforms is a plus
- Prior experience with webinar tools, ability to troubleshoot on virtual events, broadcast/streaming technologies and live events are an asset
- Prior experience in running events is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders
- High level of responsiveness, sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure amid a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong drive for results, ability to plan, track and follow through to deliver on tight deadlines
