Job Summary:
As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department's day-to-day functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, record-keeping, and administrative tasks. You will assist in maintaining HR processes, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to both employees and management. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for candidates. Provide administrative support in the hiring process, including communication with candidates and preparing offer letters.
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
Coordinate and assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation, conducting orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Support offboarding activities, such as exit interviews and documentation for departing employees.
- Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resource Information System), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the preparation and filing of employment documents and reports.
- HR Administration:
Assist in processing payroll data, tracking employee attendance, and handling employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave policies, and other HR-related matters.
- Compliance & Reporting:
Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Assist with the preparation of reports for audits and regulatory requirements.
- Employee Engagement & Communication:
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including organizing company events, surveys, and internal communications. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide general HR support.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
Prior experience in an administrative or HR-related role is a plus, but not required. Internship experience is welcomed too
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (Infotech) is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus.
