Air Operation Manager
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage airfreight operation team
- Ensure smoothy operations and good customer services.
- Execution of MAWBs and HAWBs (Direct and consolidation shipment)
- Manage airline FWB/FHL submission
- Follow up and processing of shipment with shipment status and revert to agents/clients
- Do all necessary documentation for all shipments and plan for collection and delivery of shipments with contractors in order to meet flight closing time.
- To ensure all COD customers payments are collected prior to release airwaybill/delivery to customer.
- Attend to all messages pertaining to operation matters.
- Responsible to oversee airfreight import and export billing to clients and agents
- Closing of all airfreight import and export job files promptly to meet month end closing
- Maintain good relations with all customers and agents to ensure good customer services.
- Ensure profitability for businesses secured with regular review with management.
- Support customer services and pricing team on air operational issues
- Any other official duties assign by Management.
Qualifications:
- Min 2 years’ experience overseeing a team to run an airfreight import and export operation of the company
- Extensive background in freight forwarding industry (agent environment)
- Strong experience in full import and export documentation functions
- Strong leadership skill
- Possess good communication & interpersonal skills
- Good understanding with co-workers and contractors.
- Self-motivated.
- Customer oriented
- High endurance
- Well versed with tradenet preferred
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to start work immediate preferred
5.5 days work (alternate weekend upon confirmation)
Working hour: 1pm to 10pm (Weekday) and 11am to 3pm (Weekend)
