Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments on engineering projects and problem-solving.
- Independently develop solutions to engineering challenges by analyzing data and anticipating potential issues.
- Assist and mentor junior engineers and drafters.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Create and review technical documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Use engineering software for design and analysis tasks.
- Test and evaluate prototypes, preparing reports on findings.
- Occasionally travel to project sites to assist with technical issues or gather data.
- Contribute to cost estimation and project standardization efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with seven to ten years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree with three to five years of experience or a PhD at entry-level.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and experience in handling complex projects.
- Familiarity with industry technologies and systems is beneficial.
- Proven ability to independently design and implement cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Capable of conducting thorough analyses, identifying issues, and developing alternative solutions.
- Experience in using engineering software and databases
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
