Responsibilities:

• Analysis of servicing touchpoints interactions and service requests from various source systems to identify trends, patterns, meaningful insights and findings that would help improve performance.
• Use of data analysis to accurately forecast volume and identify resource requirement, optimizing workforce management strategies.
• Employ data storytelling to weave business performance narratives and work with key business owners to identify opportunities or close gaps
• Validate the data points in the data warehouse in ensuring data integrity.
• Develop, automate and streamline management reporting to monitor key business metrics
• Handle ad hoc requests, discern trends and business needs, and recommend sustainable solutions.

Requirements:

• University Degree with at least 8 years of experience in FI or insurance industry, managing inhouse / outsourced contact centre is preferred.
• Determined, resourceful and results oriented individual with proven track record in driving and achieving results.
• Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills having the ability to communicate strong business story-telling skills

The Data Governance Specialist will be leading the approach, design, and execution of Data Governance initiatives of AIA Singapore.

In this role, you will participate in the planning, estimation of varied tasks associated with a well-rounded Data Governance framework. In this role, you will work closely with Technology on solutioning, architecture, feasibility, tool evaluation and project management for supporting Data Governance.

You will also be responsible for providing timely updates along with any associated issues and risks.

Responsibilties:

• Drive the overall Data Governance Framework setup and execution across AIA.
• Define, obtain endorsement, and maintain key Data Governance documents and areas including, but not limited to: target operating model, roles & responsibilities, policies, standards and processes.
• Execution of Data Quality assessment for key systems and critical data elements.
• Implementation of Data Governance tools like metadata management, reference data management, master data management and data quality.
• Facilitate the resolution of data quality and governance issues on a day-to-day basis.
• Chair and run the periodic Data Governance Working Group meeting.
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics and BI colleagues to deliver on your objectives and openly share knowledge within the organization.
• Build and maintain strong effective relationships with key internal and external parties to ensure that your data platform solutions meet expectations
• Assess and understand the business requirements through liaison with the business, Business Analysts and Project Managers.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge for the effective performance of the role.
• Other tasks or responsibilities assigned from time to time by management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor ’s degree and above in Analytics, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related fields.
• 3-4 years experience in data governance and data quality related projects.
• Hands-on experience on related tools namely IDQ, AXON, EDC, Data360. Also working experience in SQL, Alteryx Tableau or BI Tool
• Good knowledge of the overall Information Management framework, including operating model, data governance, data management, data security, data quality and data architecture.
• Good understanding of metadata management, reference data management, master data management, and data quality.
• Day to day execution experience of implementing data governance framework.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Plan the development and execution of Data strategies that supports the Enterprise Data roadmap and Govern and set the future enhancement strategy on AIA's enterprise data warehouse by working with the data owners & champions across the business. Form best practices on data management via the Data Governance Framework and work with IT and data owners/champions to roll out across the organization. Execution of Data Quality assessment for key systems and critical data elements and Implementation of Data Governance tools like metadata management, reference data management, master data management and data quality. Own the approach and structure to the data model in EDW by structuring it to the business needs. Set and execute strategies that will incrementally improve data quality, consistency, currency and completeness and eliminate redundancy. Oversee governance of data quality through fit-for-purpose data quality reporting to the Data Management Council. Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with key internal and external business stakeholders to ensure that data meets the expectation of key business stakeholders. Collaborate with IT to develop data infrastructure and architecture strategies that promote data quality, seamless data sharing and data accountability. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You are able to adapt to dynamic environments and manage multiple stakeholders. You also have: A Bachelor's degree and above in Analytics, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related fields. At least 5 - 8 years of experience in data governance master data management, data quality related projects. Expertise on any of the Data Governance related tool namely Data360.
