Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance in preparation for external audits.
- Assist in implementation of Halal standards. Responsible for compliance with MUIS Halal Standards, application and renewal of Halal Certification.
- Conduct regular audit on personal hygiene, food quality, food hygiene and employee safety at Central Kitchen.
- Conduct food quality, food hygiene and system audit of all vending machines.
- Conduct in-house staff training (eg. personal hygiene & food safety, workplace safety & fire drill).
- Assist in product development projects (eg. raw ingredients, processing equipment, packaging materials).
- Assist in developing SOPs and checklists for Central Kitchen and vending machines.
- Assist in the application and renewal of vending machine licences.
- Handle customer complaint - investigation and report. Maintain documentation.
- Track, analyse and execute corrective/preventive action initiatives for non-conformance and complaint issues.
- Monitor overall quality and food safety of operations from receiving to delivery. Recommend corrective actions in the event of non-compliance. Set up necessary systems to achieve requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, Quality Assurance or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in QAQC related field in food industry, preferably from food manufacturing/food service/food retail.
- Familiar with food regulatory/retail hygiene requirement is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge in FSMS / QMS / GMP / GFSI / HACCP / HALAL certification and Food Safety is preferable.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn and able to adapt quickly.
- Display strong initiative and able to work independently.
- Possess resourcefulness to seek out creative ideas and methods to achieve targets.
- Able to start work within short notice.
