Responsibilities:
- To ensure alignment of Divisional Procurement strategy & processes to the Group Procurement Policies & Authorities
- To ensure effective governance and transparency of operations
- To maximize value creation & optimize total cost of ownership
- To ensure a stable and competitive supplier base
- To adopt best in class procurement systems and processes
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Perform Spend Analysis to support sourcing strategy and annual plan development for TSL
- Perform study of supply market intelligence (market, vendor, product, commodity, etc) for TSL
- Drive procurement cost reduction initiatives within TSL
- Support the development and drive the implementation of Group Procurement strategies, policies and initiatives at TSL
- Contribute to the development of procurement planning processes
- Lead/Manage the procurement processes at TSL
- Drive the alignment of Divisional SOP to GPPA and ensure compliance to GPPA for TSL
- Drive and manage capability development and knowledge management for TSL
Operational Responsibilities:
- Conduct tenders in accordance to Division SOP/GPPA and make recommendations to Tender Committee
- Understanding and influencing sourcing project / business requirements. Identify opportunities that focus on cost reductions, efficiencies/quality improvements, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends and shifts in technology
- Supplier Classification, Relationship Management and contract management
- Proactively work with Stakeholders and assist in or directly manage spend
- Know, understand and stay abreast of industry trends, benchmarks, best practices, etc.
- Monitor Strategic/key Suppliers to provide internal notifications and develop risk mitigation scenarios
- Analyze past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and current inventory levels
- Drive Procurement Digital Strategy (Digitization and Automation of processes) and reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (i.e. supply programs, catalogs) at TSL
- Supplier assessment and due diligence: Conduct assessments and audits of current and potential suppliers to evaluate their compliance with ethical, social, and environmental standards. Identify risks and areas for improvement and collaborate with suppliers to drive corrective actions.
- Supplier performance monitoring: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance in responsible sourcing. Regularly monitor and evaluate supplier performance, providing feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, sustainability, and operations teams, to ensure responsible sourcing practices are integrated into procurement processes.
- Training and awareness: Conduct training programs to educate employees, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders on responsible sourcing practices. Promote awareness and understanding of responsible sourcing throughout the organization.
- Reporting and transparency: Prepare regular reports and metrics to track responsible sourcing performance. Ensure transparency by communicating progress, challenges, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to responsible sourcing, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to implement best practices, innovative approaches, and new technologies.
- System evaluation and enhancement: Assess the effectiveness of current procurement systems and tools. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and user pain points. Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to recommend system enhancements to improve functionality, usability, and data integrity.
- Managing the roles and permissions assigned to individual users. Involves in determining the access levels and responsibilities of different users and ensuring that the appropriate individuals or authorities have the necessary approval rights.
- Continuous improvement: Stay informed about emerging procurement trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Lead or participate in projects to implement new tools, systems, or process enhancements.
Requirements:
1. Operational
(i) Perform Cost Benefit analysis of strategies and initiatives
(ii) Prepares Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly performance reporting, when required
(iii) Project implementation
(iv) Perform business process analysis for Procurement (MS Dynamic 365)
(v) Risk Management and reporting
(vi) Drive ESG policy implementation and reporting for Procurement

(i) Identifying procurement strategies to suit the different business needs
(ii) Negotiations with strategic vendors, when required.

Division.

initiatives
i. Bachelors's Degree in any discipline
ii. Masters Degree or Procurement Professional Certification will be an advantage.
iii. Minimum 8 years of experience
