The Key objectives: Ensures, the efficiency in the process of the sales order collection and in the logistics related activities granting the sourcing (from both group’s company and external suppliers), the distribution and the direct sales optimizing the company sourcing and logistics strategy also by managing local warehouses both owned and third party’s serviced.
Ensures both import activities for sourcing and distribution of goods, granting sourcing/distribution in the right location on time and at the best value to the company to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and loyalty and product management company’s strategy implementation.
Essential responsibilities:
- Ensures the order intake process in dedicated Company System with full instructions for the shipment granting the packing list/packing list (when needed) and system invoice granting customer orders with reference product availability for the required dates, to all conditions, price, credit limit if existing duly archiving customer orders with the dedicated company’s system;
- Ensures the management of both supply and demand for the sales into distribution channel; in this context guarantees the management of logistics and distribution of products to the market;
- Ensures the liaison and the connection with the Headquarter Logistics department, for the stipulation and the management of local storage contracts;
- Ensures the connections with the Headquarter Logistics department and with the Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Direction of the company, for the purchasing of local transport services.
- ensures the collection, registration and communication of technical and logistics customer complaints.
- ensures the preparations of the annual budget, quarter and monthly forecasts, in order to Ensures completion of proper activities within agreed timelines.
- grant an effective and timely monitoring of actual departure and arrival date of the goods keeping customers informed about variations;
- maintain a proper communication with customers for any request or issue concerning the orders;
- Ensures the carry out for pertinent activities to keep customer master data updated;
- provides assistance to Sales to outline and cooperates to the management of distribution contracts, keeping relationships with distributors in order to collect their sales forecasts, orders and deliveries;
- manage service providers, selected in collaboration with the company’s HQ, for warehousing, international and domestic distribution; monitor and optimize logistics related costs, in order to reduce them, contribute and support the relevant AFC unit in the periodical inventory activity
- ensures in collaboration with the HQ and with the support of relevant Sales unit, optimize the time of customs clearance of goods, with the help of brokers and/or directly;
- actively monitors suppliers performance following Singapore and the company’s standards;
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Min. bachelor’s degree with Certification in Procurement and Supply Chain management (CIPS or equipollent) an outstanding prove experience can be evaluated as equipollent
- 5+ years’ experience in Logistics and Distribution in Asian based company (having experience in Singapore based entities is a strong plus).
- Leadership skills as well as ability to lead and motivate a team of customer service representatives in achieving business objectives
- Knowledge of incoterms and warehousing related models in APAC region will constitute a strong plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
