Responsibilities:
- Makes sure that the data are relevant and accurate by analyzing operations and expenses
- Tracks, analyses and monitors the evolution of key performance indicators, costs & operations results.
- Identify and alert management key risks & trends, facilitate mitigation actions for business improvement
- Proposes and recommends improvements or corrections to his manager in order to optimize operations on an operational level and in terms of quality and safety, while reducing operating costs
- Publishes monthly operating and management reporting
- Follows up action plans decided with the different managers for mitigation plans or actions to exceed Target expectations
- Monitors efficiency actions plans to ensure reporting is in line with Air Liquide Group guidelines while ensuring that those concerned take action
- Provide accurate data from World Business Line / Group required reporting
- Provide sound analysis with assistance from Business Analysts on product costing seen in Financial books with discussions with the business team to improve product profitability.
- In charge of updating Air Liquide’s direction 5-10 year plan
- Single point of contact for Normal investment administration in eCAPEX system
- Involved in the development of projects with Business Development and provide support on product cost base from checks and validation of project documents / canonics, challenge business / strategic assumptions from business team and monitor the implementation on the project in terms of Financing, timing of first industrial production (FIP); Post project FIP to perform financial analysis vs RIC approved economics
- Coordination and liaising with stakeholder for key information on Targets and Re-forecasts
- Drive financial forecasts with close discussions with Business Line General Managers on each segment of the P&L, Normals/Special investments and perform analysis for presentation
- Ad Hoc analysis and Optimization projects requested by Business Line General Managers or Managing Directors
- Familiar with EU Taxonomy (ALTA package)
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering/Finance or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Operations/Business Development/Finance in the gas industry.
- Possess analytical thinking ability, focused, self-organized and good articulation skills.
- Excellent data analysis and PC skills, including google suites, power BI, gideons & oracle.
