Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Lead finance department and drive end to end financial performance of the business inclusive of monitoring financial performances, monthly flash report; credit control; cash flow; investment management; tax; insurance; treasury; internal audit; budgeting and forecasting; and risk management linked to customers and assets.
- Validate written procedures for all accounting processes (accounting rules, fixed assets management, invoice booking, payments etc.).
- Validate the proper design of the ERP tool (cost centers, local account, etc.)
- Validate the proper creation of the financial statements as per PGAAP rules and IFRS.
- Validate Reporting as per country management and cluster/hub/head office requirements.
- Finalize the financial statements with statutory auditors.
- Validate Finance organization and roles
Financing, Cash Management and Hedging
- Define with group the equity/debt ratios and the core banks
- Interact with the core banks to structure the loans (long term, short term, interest rates)
- Provide guidance to the Treasurer for funding. In case of new projects, liaise and negotiate funding with banks as per inputs of group Corporate Finance.
- Monitor the treasury team for adherence to defined processes.
- Review and present quarterly updates on treasury and fund management to the Board.
Credit & Cash Collection
- Validate written procedures for Credit & Cash Collection aligned with the Financial Shared Service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 15 years plus of broad financial experience with 3 years plus of public accounting
- Significant experience within a global manufacturing, multi-entity environment
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
- Initiative, strategic thinking, sound reasoning, business acumen, and analytical skills
- Superior verbal/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Management skills with the ability to effectively motivate, train and mentor others
- Experience with an ERP (Aptean Ross, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP, and/or Oracle)
