What you’ll do
The Channel Partnerships team in Singapore is responsible for expanding Airwallex’s partner relationships across South East Asia and South Asia, specifically across three core industries: Start-ups, Ecommerce and Corporate Service Providers in Vietnam. Airwallex’s partner relationships drive brand awareness, customer acquisition as well as various forms of product integrations and co-marketing opportunities. We are seeking a Channel Partnerships Manager to drive the expansion of Airwallex into new Vietnam.
This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire and manage relationships with channel partners and strategic ambassadors in Vietnam who will enable Airwallex’s new market expansion, particularly within the e-commerce, startup and corporate service provider space.
- Manage all processes for acquiring and managing Airwallex partnerships in Vietnam(prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration (if required), onboarding and on-going management/ activation)
- Overachieve your revenue targets through referrals from your Vietnam based partnerships.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including legal, strategy, operations and finance where required to unlock new partner segments/ markets and deliver a seamless experience for our partners.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with Vietnam based partners to build towards long-lasting, win-win relationships.
- Contribute ideas and drive initiatives on how Airwallex can develop a market-leading GTM strategy via partnerships.
Who you are
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in partnership, sales, marketing, business development or GTM strategy.
- Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development preferred.
- Experience in strategy/ops or working in tech or a fast-growing start-up would be advantageous.
- Existing relationships / strong network with referral partners in technology, e-commerce, start-ups, or corporate service providers preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills in English & Vietnamese to be able to support sales into the Vietnam market.
- Strong analytical skills with experience with tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced start-up payments company would be highly beneficial
