• Oversee food preparation and ensure all recipes and presentation meets the company's specification and commitment to quality
• Responsible to ensure that quality of the food produced in Catering Kitchen meets Company's standards before it is delivered to catering customers in a timely manner
• Accountable for food cost management, menu planning, development and creation of new products when required
• To ensure the quality of all food (refers to raw and cooked) and condiments received from suppliers, is well-maintained through proper storage and usage
• housekeeping, and cleanliness & tidiness of work area
• Responsible for the hygienic and safe preparation of food as per Food Hygiene standards and legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace
• Responsible for preparing the daily market list and plan the production schedule to meet business demands. Ensure that there is minimal wastage, on time ordering for freshness of ingredients, sufficient food stock and adjust the production according to the demands of catering
• To assist in inventory management. Monitor the stock level for ingredients and finished products and to maintain its minimum stock level

• Candidates must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of managerial experience in the Food industry or related field is required for this position.
• Preferably candidates specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
• Team player & customer oriented, with strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills & people management supervision
• Responsible in business performance of assigned store, analyzing and planning store sales level and profitability
• Knowledge & understanding in Sales Profit & Loss is an advantage

• Lead and supervise the production team to meet daily production output and operational target
• Ensure the production team works in a safe environment and comply with all safety procedures
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings to create workplace safety awareness, food safety awareness and GMP awareness
• Understand production schedules and prioritize production sequence - Packaging materials and Raw materials
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve non-conformance production issues, collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment malfunctions and abnormalities
• Ensure the manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient. Evaluate stations/processes of the production operation to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimum efficiency
• Maintain production records and ensure raw material/packaging/finished product are recorded timely
• Apply and advocate operating procedures and standards
• Analyse and ensure accurate recording of production data into reports and/or SAP system
• Responsible for daily production reports (including any off-specification results and investigations)
• Ensure all QA samples from production are collected and measured on time
• Responsible for the training, recruitment, attendance, and performance management of the production team
