Job Description
1. To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact of cost, overall schedule and quality.
2. Coordinate and collaborate with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues
3. Day-to-day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
4. Resolving any technical difficulties and problem that may arise on site.
5. Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure that they meet project requirements and industry standards.
6. Attend meetings as required to ensure the compliance with the overall project standards, procedures requirements and resolved issued.
7. Review and endorse subcontract documents, progress & variation works claims to customers.
8. Ensure that all aspects meet the government regulations and standards, including safety of works, inspections and testing of equipment and machinery, training needs of staff.
9. Other ad-hoc duties required to carry out.
Requirements
- At least 6 years relevant experience, preferably with work experience in related field.
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field
- Possess strong planning and prioritisation skills to cope with multiple tasks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Meticulous and able to work with tight deadlines and pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in managing building and construction structure projects.
