Provide quality South Indian food products for our guests and support in achieving all goal designated by the Management team

Provide direction for menu development and implementations

Assist marketing efforts by creating and being known for a Unique Selling Point

Taste food regularly and express informed and constructive suggestions to Chefs and team regarding food preparation and presentation

Diploma / Certification in Culinary or Equivalent

Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant restaurant concept

Must have a comprehensive and diverse culinary background that suggests a well-developed set of skills to cope in large, diverse kitchen and restaurant environment

Knowledge of various cuisines and their preparation and services, with dynamic understanding in the latest culinary concepts in a broad range of cuisines

Good knowledge in accounting and calculation of food costs

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist head chef to lead daily operations and ensure the kitchen's consistency in delivering high-quality food.

- Control and direct food preparation and coordinate kitchen tasks.

- Train and ensure kitchen staff are equipped to meet daily operations.

- Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards and reflect restaurant's theme.

- Determine food inventory needs, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.

- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.

- Inventory management and food wastage control.

- Ensure kitchen meets all regulations including food hygiene practices, sanitary and food safety guidelines.

- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by company
