ALC Technologies SG Pte Ltd is looking for an exceptional Quantitative Researcher to join our team. In this role you conduct creative research and impact our trading strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Research on core trading strategies: core algorithms, models, execution logic, performance optimization and monitoring
• Implement frameworks for developing, validating and testing trading strategies
• Analyse behavior of trades and avenues for improvement
• Responsible for improving our strategies, the P/L through pricing-based research, into monetization.
• Advance existing initiatives and explore opportunities for new research topics
• Drive technical innovation and improve simulations within the team through the evaluation of new tools and technologies

The Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience in a quantitative role within a trading environment or experience applying advanced quantitative techniques
• Passion for solving complex and data intensive problems
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
• Strong proficiency in programming languages C++ and/or Python
• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in a technical field from top-tier universities such as Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Key Responsibilities
Working as a part of a broader trading platform development team, you will:

• Design, build and maintain a highly performant, highly available adaptive trading platform providing access to a broad range of CeFi, DeFi and OTC liquidity sources.
• Use software development methodologies to implement and extend order management, compliance, exchange connectivity, market data, and routing functionality.
• Design and implement our next-generation real-time trading platform.
• Manage and support the operation of our global trading system, troubleshooting and debugging issues.
• Work closely with traders and the business development department to implement new ideas swiftly.
• Mentor less experienced team members, act as a role model and support their professional growth.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in implementing infrastructure components facilitating high volume, low latency trading within a prop trading firm or hedge fund.
• Track record of building highly performant, distributed and optimised (high throughput and/or low latency) systems in C# or modern C++ (>= 11) in a modern Linux environment.
• Outcome focused - able to balance speed to market and building highly available and robust platforms.
• Exposure to meta programming, Git, CI/CD, unit/integration testing, Kafka, FIX, Cloud
• Proactive communicator, willing to voice opinions but able to disagree and commit
• Knowledge of OMS/PMS platforms, exchange connectivity or high volume OTC trading would be advantageous.
