Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing user interfaces using Dash or similar frameworks, supporting API design and implementation, and transitioning traditional UIs to leverage large language model (LLM)-based features. This role requires a combination of strong Python development skills, UI/UX sensibilities, and a keen interest in innovative AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• UI Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Develop and maintain interactive and data-driven user interfaces using Python-based packages (e.g. Dash, Plotly, or similar frameworks).
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure UIs work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
• Integrate front-end components with backend services to create cohesive applications.

• API Design and Implementation:
• Design, develop, and implement robust RESTful APIs to support UI functionality and integration with backend services.
• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and performant.
• Document API specifications and provide support for API consumers.

• LLM-Based UIs Development:
• Develop and transition existing UIs to incorporate LLM-based features, enhancing user interaction and overall experience.
• Implement natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) models to enable intelligent UI functionalities.
• Work with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate LLMs into the UI effectively.

• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, backend developers, and product managers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings to ensure high-quality code and product development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications and systems.

• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Python development, UI/UX design, and AI technologies.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:
• Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on UI development and API integration.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Dash, Flask, or similar for building interactive web applications.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and experience with RESTful API development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their application in enhancing user interfaces.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or good understanding in transitioning traditional UIs to LLM-based interfaces.
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

You are responsible for the entire life cycle of a number of client projects from inception through to delivery. With the support of the senior management team, you are responsible for translating a brief into a detailed scope document, planning and budgeting projects accurately, and managing the project and team effectively. To be successful in this role, you should be methodical and have excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a diverse range of fast-moving local and global complex projects that are innovation-based, strategic - digital - brand and communication-focused, from resourcing and scoping to delivery.
• Successfully deliver projects with high-quality deliverables, on time, and within budget.
• Identify what success looks like for each project, with client agreement, to ensure we achieve that as a team.
• Write thorough, considered scopes of work that can act as contracts for your projects to then tailor and communicate an appropriate structure by methodology or project phase, while documenting this clearly in the scope of work.
• Define and agree on the scope of work internally and with clients, and ensure projects are delivered within this agreed scope.
• Work with leads to accurately estimate a project according to the most appropriate model (e.g., fixed-price, capped time and materials, by project phase).
• Track and monitor overall project burn rates and financial progress by highlighting potential overruns before they occur and escalating and resolving financial issues as they happen.
• Present and communicate effectively internally and externally, both verbally and in writing.
• Manage multiple resources and studios to ensure the best outcome for clients and Aleph. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress at all times and manage expectations proactively.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks on a project, focusing on solutions. Balance specific client demands with project realities and reliably close the loop on all open issues in a timely manner.

Prerequisites

• Experience delivering full life-cycle projects in a digital agency or consultancy environment, implementing innovative, interactive, and consumer-focused solutions.
• Ability to code or previous experience in technical space is highly desirable.
• An accomplished communicator who gains the business's confidence and clients’ trust.
• Able to build strong relationships and achieve results under potentially difficult circumstances.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure with high flexibility and fluidity. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Possess good business acumen and sound judgment.
• Strong customer service ethos, committed to quality, with the will to drive improvements.

An Art Director is a professional who is in charge of developing and maintaining a creative vision that speaks to the reader, viewer, or user. In this role, you will take an active and hands-on role in supporting the creative, engineering and project/account management teams.

You will also work closely with clients and be responsible for conducting user and stakeholder research activities including user interviews, ideation sessions, usability studies and other user research techniques to inform a human-centred design for the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the leadership team and stakeholders to execute product vision and strategy.
• Collaborate closely with product owners to find opportunities for new products and features and to validate assumptions through user testing and research.
• Collaborate with managers, designers, writers, other team members, and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s).
• Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members
• Drive the overall quality of design output and its contribution to business objectives.
• Responsible for managing and supporting a team of graphic designers to bring concepts, presentations, and prototypes to life.
• Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments.

Prerequisites

You have a strong interest in all aspects of design and its impact on the world around you, and share a passion for making digital experiences simple, meaningful and elegant. As an experienced Art Director, you will participate and lead world-class projects, and enjoy collaborating with peers and clients alike to solve complex design problems.

• You have proven working experience as Art Director with 4+ years of experience.
• You have hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and package design.
• You have a clear understanding and love for white-space and all that jazz (design principles).
• You are wildly creative, meticulous and addicted to the quality of craft
• Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools. (E.g SketchApp, Photoshop, Keynote, etc).
• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
