We are looking for a UX Researcher Intern to join and support the Creative Team. We are looking for people who are curious, open, eager to learn and to eventually grow with us. Based on your performance, there is potential for a full time position in the future as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
- Manage and grow research panels
- Work with other UX researchers and designers to coordinate and schedule participants for user interviews and user tests
- Help UX researchers and designers conduct remote usability tests.
- Collaborate with others to do secondary research for travel and e-commerce products
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI and visual design specifications to Product and Engineering teams.
- Contribute to the design system and ensure design standardization across all of the team's products.
- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts.
- Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
- Improve the development life cycle (SDLC).
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic/Visual Communications Design, Industrial or Product Design or related field.
- Strong interest in user research, user experience design, human behaviors, and research methodologies
- You’re a storyteller and can effectively convey findings.
- Comfortable reaching out to strangers and communicating effectively with others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs).
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team in different locations.
- Internship duration of 6 month(s) with the possibility to be converted to a permanent employee (depending on performance during the internship).
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Available to start immediately is an added advantage.
